Hello Simply Clarke readers!
I'm Mikaela, a new blogger as of two months ago spending possibly too much time writing over at Mikaela Rae.
I am so very thankful to Marquis for having me guest post today! I am so excited to be here and get to meet you all! I hope this will be the beginning of a new friendship with many of you :)
Just a little about me before I share some awesome things that have been on my heart this past week!
I was born and raised in Philly. My family moved to Boston and I've lived there ever since, and I'm moving to Austin, Texas next summer :) I'm a die hard Phillies fan, but if they're out, I root for the Red Socks.
shhhh...don't tell anyone ;)
I'm a little snobby and love Starbucks. For some reason Dunkin' just doesn't do it for me. I love love love cooking with my best friend Jenna, that's her down there. She's an incredible chef.
I love anything outdoorsy, DIY projects, Interior Design, coffee - no that's a lie, I'm obsessed with coffee - horseback riding, and any kind of music except for screamo - it makes me want to tear my eyeballs out.
There was one thing that resounded in my heart and spoke louder than all the other ideas of what I could write when Marquis asked me guest post - and that is the love of Abba.
In the past few days especially I have been covered
no
drenched, in the love of Christ. I can't stop thinking about how great His love is for me and how He always shows up with a smile on His face and turns any situation into a great one.
This verse has been my saving grace this past stressful week, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing"

Put a smile on! It's amazing how when we smile, other people smile back, and that makes us happy! Try to live every day in joy, because we have an awesome God who has so much love for us.

ReplyDeleteI love that you guys are all in to your teams, in the UK most blokes have their football teams but the women just do not like sport as a rule. Obviously their are the exceptions. I love Starbucks so much the only thing for me is there just isn't enough of them where i live.
